A team from CQ Medical laced up their running shoes and joined hundreds of their colleagues for a fun event during the ASTRO Annual Meeting. The Run for Research 5k, powered by Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company, took place on a beautiful morning along the San Diego waterfront. All funds raised benefit the Radiation Oncology Institute – ASTRO’s foundation, the only charity accelerating radiation oncology research.

Katerina Tsitouris, CQ Medical’s Northwest Territory Sales Manager, said, “Participating in the annual ROI 5k race with our CQ Medical crew enabled me to contribute towards ROI's mission: ‘to heighten the critical role of radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer through research and education.’ I had a blast running with my team while advocating for increased patient access to cancer care and technology advancements that will improve their outcomes and quality of life.”
